Hey Bosses, Are You Listening? Delhi Firm’s 9-Day Diwali Holiday Wins The Internet

While most companies are pushing employees back into offices and long work hours dominate workplace discussions, a Delhi-based PR firm has taken a refreshingly different approach. Elite Marque, led by its founder and CEO Rajat Grover, has announced a nine-day Diwali holiday, a move that has struck a chord with professionals and netizens alike for prioritising employee well-being. The firm’s decision, shared through a company-wide email, instantly won hearts across social media. Grover’s humorous and heartwarming message encouraged employees to embrace the festive spirit fully, to rest, laugh late into the night with family, and indulge in sweets without guilt. His one instruction was clear: switch off from work completely. “Switch off from emails,” he wrote, “unless it’s Amazon, Swiggy, or Zomato.” Elite Marque has declared October 18 to October 26, 2025, as a complete break, which Grover described as a “bonus time” for the team to unwind and recharge.  In his message, filled with light-hearted wit, he urged staff to “binge-watch family dramas,” “break personal records of eating kaju katlis,” and “master the art of sleeping till noon.” He concluded with a cheerful wish for employees to return “two kilos heavier and ten times happier.” Netizens Applaud The Move The initiative gained massive attention after one employee shared Grover’s email on LinkedIn, calling it an example of “genuine workplace culture.” Her post highlighted that “a genuine workplace culture is characterised by an employer who consistently places the needs and well-being of their employees at the forefront.” Social media users were quick to applaud the gesture. One user commented, “Truly inspiring to see a workplace where employee well-being isn’t just spoken about but genuinely practiced. Kudos to Elite Marque and Rajat Grover for fostering a culture that values people at its core. Wishing the entire team a joyful and rejuvenating festive break!” Another individual noted how such leadership choices create trust and positivity: “Kudos Elite Marque and its leadership. In today’s times when unexpected mails from leadership often spell bad news for employees, this is very refreshing. All the best for great progress.” A third user emphasised how thoughtful gestures strengthen the employer-employee bond: “Such a thoughtful and witty initiative. When employees feel that their well-being truly matters, they feel more connected and inspired to give their best back to the firm!!” Elite Marque’s decision comes at a time when workplace stress and burnout are on the rise across industries. In a world where productivity often overshadows people, Grover’s approach stands out for choosing empathy over exhaustion. The announcement not only boosts morale but also sets an example for other companies to rethink their approach to work-life balance.

Nipple Discharge Could Signal Lobular Breast Cancer – Know The Signs And Get Checked

{By: Dr. Pushpinder Gulia} Worldwide, breast cancer has an occurrence rate of 46.3 per 100,000 population. Breast lobular carcinoma is responsible for roughly 5% to 15% of all invasive breast cancer and takes place at a mean age three years more than invasive ductal carcinoma. Breast health is integral to the overall state of well-being, and any abnormality should never be overlooked. One of the symptoms that is overlooked or downplayed is nipple discharge. While it may be a manifestation of benign processes, in other instances, it may indeed be a sign of a more dangerous condition, Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC), an underpublicized but true type of breast cancer. ALSO READ: Not Just A Man’s Disease: Why Women Must Listen To Their Hearts Before It’s Too Late What Is Lobular Breast Carcinoma? Invasive lobular cancer is clinically silent and avoids detection on a mammogram or physical examination until the disease is found at a late stage. This is due to both the indolent growth and the infiltrative growth pattern of this neoplasm, and because early diagnosis is difficult using a mammogram. In later stages, there is a definite mass, with or without slight thickening of the nipple or an exudative scab over the skin, with other skin changes such as flushing, edema, the probability of metastasis within the axillary or supraclavicular lymph nodes. Therefore, the doctor needs to examine the patient carefully so that nothing important is overlooked. Early Detection Of Symptoms And Importance Nipple discharge is not always benign. If one notices any discharge, especially if it is bloody, clear, or spontaneous, immediately seek medical attention. Early diagnosis can significantly improve survival and treatment outcomes. Nipple discharge might be one of the first symptoms, especially if spontaneous and without any attendant breastfeeding. Other indications are breast pain, skin thickening or dimpling, change in breast form, or an inverted nipple. Because Lobular cancer does not always present with a palpable mass, these occult findings become significant as markers. Risk factors Of Lobular Breast Carcinoma The risk for developing ILC is elevated with age 55 years or above, with a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, having previously been diagnosed with breast cancer, and with some hormonal exposures such as hormone replacement therapy. Diagnosis And Treatment Diagnosis is most often a combination of imaging tests such as mammograms, breast ultrasound, and MRIs, and then a biopsy to confirm the presence of cancer cells. Because lobular cancer is so subtle, more advanced imaging techniques might be necessary to detect it accurately. Treatment is mostly through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and hormone therapy, especially if the cancer is estrogen receptor-positive (ER+). Lobular cancer generally has a good prognosis when it is caught early and a better five-year survival rate as compared to other types of breast cancer. Late effects do, however, differ and may include recurrence or metastasis years after initial treatment. Knowledge is power. Nipple discharge must never be dismissed, especially with a supporting cast of other breast alterations. Invasive Lobular Carcinoma can be quiet, but its effect can be severe. Self-exams, regular screening, and early medical treatment to unusual symptoms can be the difference-maker. If you or someone you know has unexplained nipple discharge, don't hesitate, get an examination. The author, Dr. Pushpinder Gulia, is the Director, Surgical Oncology, at CK Birla Hospital, Gurugram. Mini Countryman JCW Is A Performance SUV With A Funky Vibe

Mini has introduced its largest performance car in terms of the JCW iteration. Meet the Countryman JCW which is priced at Rs 64.9 lakh. The JCW is the most aggressive version of the Countryman in India and we also get JCW versions of the other Mini cars. The Countryman till now was available with an electric powertrain while now it gets another turbo petrol engine with a different tune for more performance. The Countryman JCW has a 2.0l turbo unit which develops 300bhp and does 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. It is all wheel drive and has a 7-speed automatic. The design too is sportier with a blacked out look and a dark grille while getting contrast red elements. There is a chequered flag design element too with ‘John Cooper Works’ written. There are some red decals too and some more aggressive details like the different alloy wheels. The rear too has dual twin-tip exhausts and a subtle spoiler. We think it looks more aggressive than the standard electric Countryman. Inside, it is less bright than the standard version with a darker all black look with red accents all around. There is a big OLED touchscreen which is the main talking point and gets funky graphics too. The JCW version will get different screens as well. The price seems a bit high at Rs 64.9 lakh but as a sporty SUV there is little else at this price point.

Woman Lands 'Dream Job', Later Firm Cancels Offer Letter On Asking For Vacation Leaves

Workplace culture has really evolved after the COVID-19 pandemic. The emphasis on work-life balance, better hiring practices, and overall empathy towards individuals has come into the spotlight. In such an atmosphere, a company's recruitment style has become the talk of the town after a job seeker shared his conversation with the HR on social networking platform, Reddit. The individual recounted how a company withdrew its job offer after they asked routine questions about employment benefits. The story has sparked widespread discussions online about toxic work environments and questionable hiring practices. According to the Reddit user, the candidate had received an offer letter from a company they were eager to join. The document, however, raised immediate concerns as it mentioned only seven paid vacation days annually, and these were available only after completing one year of service. Raising Questions Led To Rejection Seeking clarity, the candidate emailed the company to inquire about other benefits such as sick leave and unpaid time off. They also asked if unpaid leave could be granted in emergencies during the first year.  Got an offer letter, asked about benefits ( paid days off, sick leave, unpaid days). Offer was withdrawnbyu/Sara_b211 inrecruitinghell The response, however, was unexpected - a rejection letter. The user wrote, “They replied with a rejection letter. I probably dodged a bullet.” The post revealed further red flags during the hiring process. The company had previously pressed the candidate for their lowest salary expectation and expressed impatience when informed about a two-week notice period before joining, responding, “But we are in a hurry.” Netizens React The post resonated widely, igniting debates on labour rights, transparency, and workplace culture. One user commented, "Wow, 7 days of vacation after a year??? No wonder most of the working world is absolutely miserable!! What location is this?"  Another wrote, "Who knows if they were even the kind of company that pays salaries on time and at the agreed amount? Definitely dodged a bullet. You'd be looking for a new job pretty soon regardless." Other users highlighted the inconsistency in workplace expectations. "It's crazy to me that companies don't want people to quit on them without notice but are unwilling to extend that courtesy to the other company losing that employee. You gotta give us 2 weeks notice, but let me help you burn a potential bridge in the process," one person observed. Several commenters compared the vacation policy unfavourably with global standards. "7 days of vacation would be illegal in most countries of the world," wrote one. Another added, "Seven days off… after a year?! I’m so glad I’m European." The Reddit user also revealed that the company’s HR later called to explain, saying, “sorry but the CEO got mad because of your questions.” One netizen summed up the sentiment, writing, "My friend, you just dodged a nuclear  MISSILE not just a bullet. When CEOs and those in positions of power get pissed when asked for clarification it’s best to steer clear of." This episode has prompted conversations about workplace ethics and the importance of clear, fair employment policies. Many observers pointed out that candidates should feel comfortable seeking transparency about basic rights, and that companies penalising questions regarding benefits may indicate deeper issues with corporate culture and employee treatment.

Muslim Man Prays For Vrindavan Saint Premanand Maharaj's Health In Madinah; Video Goes Viral

A Muslim man from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, offered prayers in the holy city of Madinah for the recovery of Sant Premanand Maharaj, a revered spiritual guru from Vrindavan. The saint is currently undergoing treatment for kidney-related health issues. The video of the youth, identified as Sufiyan, has gone viral on social media. The video shows the man praying to Allah to restore the saint’s health so that he can continue guiding his followers. Sufiyan’s message underlines that humanity transcends religious boundaries, reflecting India’s centuries-old Ganga-Jamuni culture — a tradition that celebrates coexistence and mutual respect between communities.  In the video, Sufiyan can be heard saying, “Hum Hindustan se hai, hum inko like karte hai, sache ache insaan hai yeh. Hum us jageh se hai jaha ganga yamuna bahte hai.” ("I am from India, I like him, he is a nice, true human. I am from that place where the Ganga and  Yamuna flow from.”) He then shows a photo of Sant Premanand Maharaj on his phone and continues, " We have come to know he is unwell. We are in Khizra now. From here, we pray that Allah grants him health and wellness." Urging people to look beyond religious divisions, he added, “People are not just Hindus and Muslims. I am standing here, praying for this Hindu brother.” मोहब्बत की इसी मिट्टी को हिंदुस्तान कहते हैं… ❤️पैगंबर हज़रत मुहम्मद ﷺ के घर पहुँची प्रेमानंद महाराज के स्वस्थ होने की दुआ।प्रयागराज के एक शख़्स ने शेयर किया ये वीडियो।#Madina | #PremanandMaharaj pic.twitter.com/ZUUhhKH8T0 — Waseem Zaidi (@NewsZD) October 13, 2025 This is not the first act of solidarity toward Sant Premanand Maharaj in recent months. In August, 26-year-old Arif Khan Chishti from Madhya Pradesh offered to donate his kidney to the preacher in a bid to support communal harmony.  “I saw a reel where Maharaj Ji spoke about Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri and Amir Khusrow with such respect. It struck me that he was working for brotherhood at a time when hatred is easily fanned. His long life is essential for keeping that spirit alive,” Chishti had said, adding that his own life was not “bigger than the life of a spiritual guru.” The video gained traction on social media, with thousands of users sharing it and calling it a true reflection of India's Ganga-Jamuni culture. A few users even noted that such instances, where a follower of one religion prays for a saint of another faith, represents India's real spirit. The spiritual guru is facing kidney-related health issues and is currently undergoing treatment at Shiri Radhehit Kelikunj Ashram in Vrindavan. According to the latest health update, the saint's health is gradually improving.
