Gadgets Review | Boat Aavante 5.2 Prime: Bass That’ll Shake Your Floors, But Not Your Pockets

Boat Aavante 5.2 Prime Review: There are thousands of audio brands in the market offering a plethora of options. But somehow, something always feels off; sometimes it’s the price, sometimes the look, or maybe it’s a complex setup. Luckily, we got our hands on a home theatre that ticks all the boxes, well, ALMOST. Meet the Boat Aavante 5.2 Prime, a home theatre designed to deliver a rich sound experience without burning a hole in your pocket. When I first got the package, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I started with very low expectations. The product looked dope, but I still waited to see what it had to offer. I played one of my favourite songs, and the word that immediately came out of my mouth was: DAMN. Let’s dive into my experience with the Boat Aavante 5.2 Prime. Boat Aavante 5.2 Prime Review: Quick Pointers What works: Deep, floor-shaking bass that never loses control Glossy and matte combo design feels very premium Dolby Atmos support at this price point Easy setup process; almost plug-and-play What doesn't: Treble can get too sharp for soft tracks Subwoofers and tweeters only have wired connections Design That’s Aesthetically Pleasing When it comes to speakers or soundbars, there aren’t too many ways to get creative. However, if you love a decent, aesthetic design that blends with the surroundings rather than standing out unnecessarily, this one is perfect. The Subwoofer: I loved the rough-matte finish: it gives a soothing, premium look. The Boat logo sits neatly on the face, and the subwoofers come with wires that need to be connected to the main soundbar unit. The Tweeters: Sleek and stylish, with speaker mesh covering almost half the body. The top and front are mesh, while the rest is premium plastic. Rubber stoppers at the bottom prevent any wobble, keeping them stable on your surfaces. The Soundbar: The ultimate boss. Glossy finish, dual speakers on the top, and front-facing drivers that deliver the main sound. A subtle LED display adds a nice touch; it doesn’t stick out or look weird, keeping the design clean and premium. Connectivity Ease Initially, I was worried about connecting all the components. With so many pieces, it seemed confusing at first. But honestly, it’s extremely easy to assemble: easier than getting your friends organised for a Goa trip. Connect the tweeters together, then plug the cable into the output. Connect the subwoofer to the main unit (soundbar). Power up the soundbar, sit back, and enjoy your favourite tracks. Almost plug-and-play; no fuss, no headache. The Magic in the Sound Now comes the part everyone’s waiting for: sound quality. In a few words: GOAT. I absolutely loved it. The soundbar goes up to level 32, with bass and treble adjustable from -5 to +5, so you can customise the experience. The device has four sound modes: Music, Sports, News, and Movie. As a fan of Karan Aujla, I naturally played his songs. The experience? Pure bliss. Perfect thumps, tight bass, and flawless rhythm. Even at full volume, vocals didn’t break. When it came to soft, romantic songs, I was a little disappointed. Even after dialling the bass and treble down, the sound remained a little pop-oriented. For example, Javeda Zindagi, a soothing track, felt over-boosted on the lows and highs.  Personally, for soft tracks, I prefer lower frequency and gentler treble, but the results here were slightly overpowering. You also get an option for surround sound with the 3D mode on the remote, giving a balanced cinematic experience for movies or immersive music listening. Considering the price of just Rs 19,999, this is truly a steal. You get a Dolby Atmos experience without spending a fortune. Whether it’s movies, music, or even news, it covers almost everything. Boat Aavante 5.2 Prime Review: Final Verdict All in all, I’m in love with this unit. If you want a budget-friendly yet powerful home theatre, this is the one to go for. The sound quality alone is enough to steal your heart. The only minor letdown is with soft, romantic songs, which can feel slightly overemphasised on the treble and bass. For pop and high-energy tracks, it’s like having Karan Aujla performing live in your room: a dream come true for Aujla Paglus. Gather some friends, crank up the volume, and you can easily have a concert experience at home.

Trump Says Solving Pakistan-Afghanistan Conflict Would Be 'Easy'

US President Donald Trump on Friday expressed confidence that he could “easily” resolve the escalating tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, asserting that he has successfully settled multiple conflicts during his tenure. Speaking at a working lunch with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House, Trump said, “Although I do understand that Pakistan attacked, or there is an attack going on with Afghanistan. That's an easy one for me to solve if I have to solve it. In the meantime, I have to run the USA, but I love solving wars. You know why? I like stopping people from being killed, and I've saved millions and millions of lives.” Trump Highlights Previous War Resolutions During the conversation, Trump reiterated his past achievements in mediating global conflicts, including in Rwanda, the Congo, and India-Pakistan disputes. “I have solved eight wars. Go to Rwanda and the Congo, talk about India and Pakistan. Look at all of the wars that we solved, and every time I solved, when they say if you solve the next one, you're gonna get the Nobel Prize. I didn't get a Nobel Prize. Somebody got it who is a very nice woman. I don't know who she is, but she was very generous. I don't care about all that stuff. I just care about saving lives,” Trump said. Ceasefire Between Pakistan and Afghanistan Faces Hurdles The remarks come as a 48-hour ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan expired, with reports indicating that the truce was extended while both sides prepare to meet in Doha for negotiations. The Taliban, however, claimed that Pakistani airstrikes in several districts of Paktika province violated the ceasefire, stating that the agreement had been “broken.” Meanwhile, the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado. In her acceptance speech, she partly dedicated the award to Trump, acknowledging his support for Venezuela’s democratic movement.

Gold Price Tips And Buying Guide For Diwali: How To Buy 22K, 24K, And 18K Gold Safely

By Kaushlendra Sinha The excitement of the hustle and bustle of Diwali shopping is palpable this festive season, but when it comes to your expensive gold purchases, don’t get too carried away by your emotions, chasing the allure of the yellow metal without protecting your investment and interest in the precious metal. These five essential rules will enable you to buy gold safely and responsibly from a trusted retailer. Rule 1: Time Your Purchase Smartly Dhanteras is ‘the’ big day for gold shopping, but the last-minute rush usually spikes prices just before the occasion. If you want to avoid inflated prices and long queues at retail outlets, pre book your jewellery and ask for the delivery on Dhanteras day.  For coins or bars, monitor MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange) spot prices. You can also wait out the rush and look for post-festival deals or spread purchases to average costs. Rule 2: Mandate Certification, Transparency, and Trust Trust and transparency are key requirements to make a valid gold purchase and that can only come about if your retailer is verified and certified. Only shop at a retail outlet that has the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmark and offers a six-digit Hallmark Unique Identification (HUID) number on your jewellery, confirming purity.  Don’t hesitate to demand full documentation: a detailed invoice, guarantee card, and assay report. The invoice should clearly list the gold rate, making charges, wastage, and taxes helping you compare retailers.  Jewellers who display their certifications and hallmarking licenses, and offer transparent return or buyback policies, are your best bet. Before leaving, ensure each item bears a visible hallmark stamp, crucial for resale and insurance. If unsure, ask for proof of testing at a nationally approved laboratory.  Rule 3: Choose the Right Retailer One of the biggest concerns for gold buyers today is finding a retailer who is trustworthy, responsible and committed to ethical sourcing and sustainable practices. Unfortunately, many uninformed consumers end up spending their hard-earned money at outlets that lack credibility risking both immediate value and long-term returns. To protect your investment, always choose an accredited retailer. Many retailers are now part of a movement to align themselves with evolving industry frameworks created by self-regulatory bodies for the gold industry and by the gold industry. They promote transparency and ethical conduct across the entire value chain. Ask tough questions about the origin of the gold, where it’s sourced from, does the retailer follow fair-trade principles? Rule 4: Buy with Purpose When you’ve decided to buy gold, you should know your intent clearly. Are you buying it to wear as an adornment, to gift to someone or as an investment? Each goal warrants a different approach. Understand the value of each of these purchases. For long-term investment, coins and bars in 24K gold offer better resale value and minimal making charges. An emotional jewellery purchase often includes design and craftsmanship costs that may not hold value over time. Digital gold and gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are popular among younger investors for their transparency, liquidity and ease of access. Gold can also be used as a collateral for personal or business loans. Rule 5: Understand How Gold Pricing Works Gold may be timeless, but its pricing is layered. A responsible buyer knows that purity, alloy composition and craftsmanship all influence the final cost and future value. Understanding these elements helps you make a purchase that’s both beautiful and financially sound. 18K gold, with 75% purity, is ideal for contemporary, lightweight designs. It’s durable and affordable, making it popular for daily wear. 22K gold at 91.6 per cent purity, is the traditional choice for weddings and festive occasions, offering a balance between strength and value. 24K gold, at 99.9 per cent purity, is too soft for jewellery but perfect for coins, bars and long-term investment. The alloy mix affects not just appearance and durability, but also resale value. The higher the cartage, the higher the return. Keep in mind that design complexity and brand reputation also significantly impact making charges adding another layer of pricing.  This festive season, let your gold purchase reflect both tradition and thoughtful intent. Responsible buying is no longer optional but essential. The new rules are simple yet powerful so align your choices with your long-term emotional and financial goals. UK's Prince Andrew Renounces 'Duke Of York' Title After 'Discussion With King Charles' Amid Epstein Fallout

Britain's Prince Andrew announced on Friday that he will relinquish all royal titles, including Duke of York, following conversations with King Charles III.  Prince Andrew has faced mounting scrutiny over his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and alleged connections to a suspected Chinese spy, yet continues to “vigorously” deny all allegations. Public criticism intensified after a widely condemned BBC interview in 2019 led Andrew to step away from royal duties. In his statement, released by Buckingham Palace, Andrew explained that he made the decision to “put duty to family and country first,” acknowledging that the “continued accusations” surrounding him have become a distraction to his brother, King Charles, and the royal family. “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family”. He further stated, “I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life”. The decision takes effect immediately, according to royal sources cited by CNN. Taking the step to remove his titles, the 65-year-old added, “With His Majesty's agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me”. Reports indicate that Prince William and other senior royals were consulted ahead of the move, which means Andrew will no longer use the titles Duke of York or any other honours previously granted. The ramifications extend to his family as well. His former wife, Sarah, Duchess of York, will henceforth be known as “Sarah Ferguson,” though the royal titles of their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, remain unchanged. Andrew will also step away from attending future royal Christmas festivities, CNN reported. Despite the loss of public roles and titles, Andrew will continue residing at Royal Lodge in Windsor under a private tenancy arrangement. He retains his “prince” designation, as the son of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Prince Andrew's Link To Epstein  Andrew’s withdrawal follows a civil suit filed by Virginia Giuffre in 2015, accusing the prince of sexual abuse when she was underage, a claim tied to Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking ring, with incidents reportedly occurring in London, New York, and the US Virgin Islands. He has repeatedly denied these claims. In 2022, he settled the case out of court, sidestepping a public trial but inviting intense criticism, and in the process, lost his military titles and roles in multiple charities. In recent developments, Andrew has faced questions over alleged ties to Yang Tengbo, an individual identified as a suspected Chinese spy. Court documents revealed Yang’s close involvement with Andrew and authorization to join business meetings with Chinese investors in the UK. Yang denies any espionage accusations. A December 2024 UK tribunal ruling upheld a ban on Yang entering Britain, and a government probe shed light on her connections to the prince.

Israel Receives Hostage Body From Gaza As Ceasefire Dispute With Hamas Deepens

Israel confirmed early Saturday that the Red Cross had handed over the body of another hostage from Gaza, amid mounting disagreements over delays in returning the deceased as part of the ongoing ceasefire arrangement between Israel and Hamas. This marks the 10th body returned to Israel out of the 28 hostages confirmed dead and held in Gaza. Hamas Cites ‘Technical Challenges’ in Recovery Efforts Hamas stated on Friday that the body of a deceased hostage would be transferred to the Red Cross. The group attributed delays to the need for “heavy machinery and excavating tools” to locate remains trapped beneath debris from Israeli strikes. In contrast, Israeli officials accused Hamas of stalling intentionally, maintaining that the militant organization already knows where the bodies are. “Time is running out,” Israel’s defense officials warned earlier in the week. Hamas reiterated its commitment to upholding the ceasefire and pledged to continue returning all remaining bodies. Its armed wing said a body had been recovered and would be handed over to the Red Cross at 2300 local time. An Israeli security official later confirmed the transfer took place around 0030 in Israel (2130 GMT). Ceasefire Under Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan Faces Strain The exchange has added tension to the fragile truce, the first step in U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan aimed at ending the Israel-Hamas war. Speaking from Ankara, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan voiced concern over Israel’s remarks. “Will Israel use Hamas’ incapability to locate bodies left under rubble as an excuse and break the ceasefire? There is concern in the international community over this,” he said. Violence Persists Despite Ceasefire Commitments Despite the ceasefire holding in most areas, violence flared again on Friday. Gaza’s Civil Defence Service reported 11 civilian deaths, including seven children and three women, when Israeli troops allegedly fired on a vehicle southeast of Gaza City. The Israeli military declined to comment, while Hamas accused Israel of “violating the ceasefire.” Hamas urged mediators to expedite the next phase of the agreement, including reopening border crossings, allowing humanitarian aid, and initiating reconstruction efforts. Meanwhile, Israel said preparations were underway to reopen the Rafah crossing with Egypt for Palestinian movement, but no date has been confirmed. Both sides continue to blame each other for breaches of the ceasefire deal. Unresolved issues — including the disarmament of militant groups and Gaza’s long-term governance, remain key obstacles in achieving lasting peace in the region.

Ex-Trump Advisor John Bolton Pleads Not Guilty To Mishandling Classified Documents

Washington DC [US], October 18 (ANI): Former US National Security Adviser John Bolton on Friday (local time) pleaded not guilty to federal charges related to the improper handling of classified information, as reported by Al Jazeera. According to Al Jazeera, Bolton appeared at the federal courthouse in Greenbelt, Maryland, where he turned himself in and entered his plea. He faces a total of 18 charges: eight counts of transmitting national defence information and ten counts of unlawfully retaining such materials. Each count carries a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years, meaning Bolton could face life in prison if convicted on all charges. Bolton, a veteran of four Republican administrations, previously served as Assistant Attorney General under Ronald Reagan, held diplomatic roles under George HW Bush, was appointed UN Ambassador by George W Bush, and served as National Security Adviser to Donald Trump. However, his tenure under Trump has drawn significant attention, with some observers suggesting the charges may be politically motivated, as reported by Al Jazeera. Bolton's indictment follows a recent wave of legal actions targeting prominent Trump critics after President Trump appointed personal lawyer Lindsey Halligan as US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. According to Al Jazeera, since taking office on September 22, Halligan has filed criminal indictments against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, both of whom have had high-profile disputes with the US President. Comey led the FBI's investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, a probe Trump opposed and eventually shut down by firing Comey in 2017. James led a civil fraud case against Trump and his company, resulting in a USD 364 million penalty, later dismissed as excessive, as reported by Al Jazeera. Bolton became one of the first high-ranking former officials to face repercussions after Trump's return to the presidency in January. Just one day after the inauguration, Trump revoked Bolton's security detail, a move Bolton criticised, citing a 2022 Justice Department case in which an Iranian Revolutionary Guard member was charged with plotting to assassinate him. In August, FBI agents raided Bolton's home in Bethesda, Maryland, seizing hard drives and boxes of documents. The 26-page indictment unsealed Thursday stems from that investigation. Prosecutors allege Bolton "abused his position" by sharing over a thousand pages of classified material, some rated "Top Secret/SCI", with two unauthorised individuals, reported to be close family members. He is also accused of unlawfully keeping notes and records related to national defence, including handwritten diary-like entries later typed and shared electronically. The indictment also claims Bolton was targeted by a hacker linked to the Iranian government, who may have accessed some of the sensitive material in his possession. Critics have noted that Trump faced similar allegations over mishandling classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence. Though federal prosecutors accused Trump of attempting to hide the records, the case was dropped before his second term began, as sitting presidents are generally not prosecuted under Justice Department policy, as reported by Al Jazeera. Other Trump officials, such as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, have also been criticised for leaking sensitive information via the Signal messaging app, an issue Bolton condemned at the time. That criticism has now been cited in his own indictment to show he understood the security risks.Following his arraignment, Bolton was released and is scheduled to reappear in court on November 21.  (This report has been published as part of the auto-generated syndicate wire feed. Pakistan Foils Suicide Attack On Army Camp In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; 4 Terrorists Killed

Peshawar, Oct 17 (PTI) Pakistani security forces on Friday foiled a suicide attack on their camp in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing four terrorists, including the suicide bomber, officials said. According to security officials, the terrorists attempted to target the security forces' camp in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district when a suicide attacker rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the boundary wall, triggering a powerful explosion. Three other militants who tried to storm the camp were gunned down by the security personnel before they could enter, they said, adding that there were no casualties among the troops. Officials confirmed that all four militants, including the suicide bomber, were killed in the operation. In a similar incident in Bajaur district, security forces foiled a major terror attempt after destroying an explosives-laden vehicle through gunfire, officials said. No loss of life was reported in the incident. According to security officials, the forces acted swiftly on prior intelligence and neutralised the threat before it could cause any damage. In another such incident, security personnel detonated an explosive-laden vehicle before it could hit the building of a police station in the Bannu district. Police opened fire at the tri-wheeler, which was moving towards the Meryan Police station, causing the vehicle to explode prematurely.  Following the explosion, heavy gunfire was heard in the area. A large contingent of police was dispatched to the scene, said District Police Officer Saleem Abbas Kulachi. Security officials also said that 88 militants, reportedly backed by the Afghan Taliban, have been killed in operations over the past two days across the region. The Pakistan Army in a statement on Thursday said that 34 terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in multiple intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province between Monday and Wednesday. The operations were conducted in North Waziristan, South Waziristan and Bannu districts, it said. Pakistan has seen a surge in militant attacks, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, after the banned TTP called off its ceasefire with the government in November 2022.  (This report has been published as part of the auto-generated syndicate wire feed. Next Crypto to Hit $1? This New Altcoin Could Be the Best Pick for 2025

The search for the next crypto to hit $1 has intensified as investors look beyond the saturated large-cap market toward emerging tokens with strong fundamentals and early-stage pricing. In previous cycles, top crypto projects like Aave, Compound, and Solana offered extraordinary gains for those who spotted their potential before they became household names. Now, many analysts are pointing to Mutuum Finance (MUTM) as a standout contender heading into 2025, thanks to its innovative lending design, structured presale, and ambitious roadmap. What Is Mutuum Finance (MUTM)? Mutuum Finance is a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol built on Ethereum, designed to create secure, efficient, and scalable markets on-chain. Unlike traditional single-market protocols, Mutuum Finance combines two complementary markets to serve a wider range of users and assets. The project has also gained significant traction through its structured presale, which began in early 2025. MUTM is currently priced at $0.035 in Phase 6, up from $0.01 in Phase 1, representing a 2.5x token appreciation for the earliest buyers. Each phase has a fixed price and limited token allocation, meaning as demand grows, stages sell out faster and the price steps up automatically. So far, the presale has raised $17.4 million, attracted over 17,200 holders, and already allocated 70% of the Phase 6 tokens. Once this stage is fully sold, the price will rise by nearly 20% in the next phase, bringing it closer to the planned $0.06 listing price. A total of 45.5% of the 4 billion MUTM tokens are reserved for the presale, creating a transparent and structured token distribution. This model rewards those who enter early with clear price appreciation milestones and builds a strong base of engaged holders ahead of launch. Dual Lending Markets, Borrowing Rates & mtTokens At the core of Mutuum Finance is its dual lending market structure, which blends Peer-to-Contract (P2C) and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) models.P2C markets cater to mainstream assets like ETH and USDT. Users deposit their assets into pooled liquidity markets, from which borrowers can draw funds. Borrowing costs adjust automatically depending on how much of the pool is being used — when liquidity is abundant, rates remain low to encourage borrowing, and when liquidity tightens, rates rise to incentivize new deposits. Lenders benefit from rising APYs as usage grows, rewarding early liquidity providers. P2P markets focus on less common tokens or custom lending agreements. By isolating risk between individual pairs, Mutuum allows for broader participation without exposing the entire pool to volatility from niche assets. The protocol also issues mtTokens, 1:1 receipt tokens that generate yield over time. For example, if a user deposits $5,000 worth of USDC, they could borrow up to $3,750 using a 75% Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio. Because the borrowed amount is kept lower than the collateral, the system maintains a protective buffer against sudden price drops, a safeguard known as over-collateralization. While the loan is active, the deposited USDC continues to earn yield through mtTokens, allowing the user to keep their capital working while still accessing additional liquidity for trading or other strategies. Why Analysts Believe MUTM Could Hit $1 Analysts see several key catalysts that could drive MUTM toward the $1 mark in the coming market cycle. One of the most important is the confirmed V1 protocol launch, announced through an X statement. Mutuum Finance will deploy its first version on the Sepolia testnet in Q4 2025, featuring liquidity pools, mtToken issuance, debt tokens, and a liquidation bot. ETH and USDT will be supported from day one, establishing a strong foundation for early liquidity. Another major driver is the buy-and-distribute model, which ties token demand directly to platform activity. A portion of borrowing fees collected on the protocol is used to buy MUTM on the open market and redistribute it to mtToken stakers. This creates a sustainable feedback loop — the more the platform is used, the greater the consistent buying pressure on the token. In addition, the team plans to launch an over-collateralized stablecoin, which will route part of platform revenue back into MUTM buybacks. This introduces a new layer of token demand tied to stable borrowing and lending activity, similar to how major DeFi protocols like Aave and MakerDAO anchor their ecosystems. Taken together, these catalysts give analysts confidence that MUTM could realistically reach $1 in the coming cycles, representing a 28x increase from the current $0.035 presale price, and a 100x increase from the $0.01 starting price for the earliest buyers. Building Like Early Compound (COMP) Industry analysts have drawn comparisons between Mutuum Finance and early Compound (COMP) — one of the pioneering lending protocols that grew from a niche DeFi tool to a multi-billion-dollar ecosystem. Like Compound in its early days, Mutuum is focusing on core lending mechanics, sound tokenomics, and a clear expansion strategy, rather than hype. The team has also rolled out strong community incentives to boost engagement. A $100,000 giveaway will reward 10 winners with $10,000 worth of MUTM each, helping expand awareness and reward early participants. On top of that, a 24-hour leaderboard offers a $500 MUTM bonus to the top depositor each day, provided they complete at least one transaction within that period. This daily competition has helped sustain steady inflows, including six-figure whale allocations, as investors race to secure early positions. Security, Oracles & Roadmap To build trust ahead of launch, Mutuum Finance has completed a CertiK audit with a 90/100 token score, signaling a strong technical foundation. The team has also launched a $50,000 bug bounty to encourage independent researchers to inspect its smart contracts, helping identify and fix issues before mainnet deployment. The protocol’s oracle infrastructure is another long-term strength. Mutuum Finance plans to use Chainlink price feeds, combined with fallback and aggregated sources, to ensure accurate pricing for collateral and liquidations, a critical element for maintaining solvency and security in DeFi lending markets. Looking forward, the 2026–2027 roadmap includes launching the stablecoin, expanding to Layer-2 networks to reduce gas costs, and strengthening the oracle systems. These milestones are designed to deepen platform utility and drive sustained token demand beyond the initial launch phase. Why More Indian Brands Are Outsourcing Customer Support Than Ever Before This Diwali

Over 55 per cent of brands turn to outsourcing firms to enhance customer experience during festive season, said a study by Vertex Global Services released on Friday. With higher spending and purchasing power, backed by festive sales and GST cuts, the digital era has increased the demand for superior customer experience which is critical to winning and retaining customers, Vertex Global Services said in a statement. The survey, conducted among over 300 brands across retail, e-commerce, and travel sectors, found more than 55 per cent of brands turn to outsourcing firms to enhance customer experience and gain a competitive edge during the festive season. Nearly seven in 10 brands agreed that the festive period is the most crucial time for customer loyalty and establishing brand reputation. Gagan Arora, Founder and President, Vertex Global Services, said: "In India's hyper-competitive festive market, brands can't afford to leave customer experience to chance.
