The Navami Tithi will begin at 6:17 a.m., and the Ravi Yoga will prevail throughout the day. Worshipping Goddess Lakshmi during Ravi Yoga is believed to bring success and prosperity in all endeavors. Additionally, the Shivvas Yoga will last until 10:03 a.m., making it a favorable period for performing Lakshmi Puja to attain desired outcomes in auspicious works. Akshaya Navami Puja Rituals Devotees should wake up early in the morning, take a holy bath, and resolve to observe the fast. Clean the place of worship and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi with full devotion. Since the main worship is performed in the evening, devotees should take another bath at that time. Once the stars become visible in the night sky, mothers offer Arghya (water offering) to the stars and then break their fast. On this day, devotees worship Goddess Parvati in her Ahoi form, who is believed to protect children from harm and bless them with well-being. Some devotees also perform moon sighting (Chandra Darshan) along with the star offering. This year, the moonrise time on Ahoi Ashtami is at 11:20 PM (IST). During the offering, it is considered auspicious to chant the mantra "Om Parvatipriyanandanaya Namah", seeking blessings for their children’s happiness and safety. Rituals And Puja Schedule To Follow Morning Preparations: Begin the day early with a holy bath and wear clean, traditional attire. Puja Setup: In the evening, draw an image of Goddess Ahoi on the wall using kumkum (vermilion). Place a decorated thali containing flowers, fruits, sweets, and water for worship. Power from the single motor is 136bhp and 200Nm. In terms of design, this special edition has some sportier design elements but there are no changes to the battery or performance while we think the changes make the car look more premium.  Ever since its launch, Windsor has been the best selling MG car in India while also being a popular EV in the overall sales. In terms of the price, the Windsor Inspire edition also comes with BAAS while the price with that is Rs 9.99 lakh while otherwise the price is Rs 16.65 lakh ex-showroom.

Suzuki Vision e-Sky: Could India Get A Funky, Wagon R-Sized Electric Car?

Affordable electric cars could be the next big thing, especially as falling battery prices make them more accessible. Cars like the Vision e-Sky, which will be showcased at the upcoming Japan Motor Show, exemplify this trend. The concept car is expected to have a production version by FY 2026. Compact Design with Kei Car Proportions, Modern Interior Features The length is around 3.3 m, and the range would be around 270 km, which isn't much but is enough for a small EV with affordable pricing. The design is funky and has the typical Kei car proportions, including a small square headlamp setup, although the concept has a blanked off grille. There is also C-shaped detailing, funky wheels, and a minimalist styling theme. Inside, the Vision e-Sky boasts two screens paired with a floating console similar to other EVs. There is a new 3-spoke steering wheel and a white themed interior. It remains to be seen whether this car comes to India, but we can expect a similar design. Maruti Suzuki has said that its future range will consist of EVs, while the carmaker will also focus on hybrids, CNG, and other powertrains. However, a car like this shows it is indeed developing a small, affordable EV with competitive pricing. This could also pave the way for a small EV for our markets, too, as affordable EVs could expand the electric segment. At the moment, some of the most affordable EV offerings include the Comet and the Tiago EV, but this offering could be the most affordable if it comes here on the basis of aggressive localisation.

One survey revealed nearly two-thirds of Stage 2 patients were between 30–60 years. Another survey showed over half of young diabetics also had lipid or BP issues. Genetics and lifestyle together are cornering India’s young hearts. Not Just A Man’s Disease Heart disease is now the leading killer of women in India. What makes it more dangerous is that women’s symptoms whisper differently and are often missed. Instead of crushing chest pain, women may feel fatigue, breathlessness, nausea, dizziness, or discomfort in the jaw, back, or stomach often dismissed as stress or indigestion. After menopause, the loss of hormonal protection and rising lifestyle diseases amplify women’s risks. Added caregiving roles and neglect of self-care further delay treatment, leading to poorer outcomes. The message is clear: women must take their heart health seriously, know their numbers, and never ignore persistent discomfort. Families and doctors must also break the stereotype that heart attacks happen only to men. Everyday should be a reminder for every woman that your heart health is your lifeline.
